Wedding photo sharing by QR code gives guests a private browser link for chosen phone photographs, with optional moderation before they join the live wall.
Guests scan your wedding QR code, choose their photographs and check them before uploading. Choose organiser approval before photos join the live wall. Personal setup and one remote rehearsal are included in the agreed founding service; venue equipment and on-site operation are separate.
The upload, moderation and projector paths are built. The live storage rehearsal and one-hour venue-style projector run remain launch gates.
A deliberate upload
Guests see what they are sharing first.
Wedding photo sharing should make it obvious what is about to leave a guest’s phone. The upload flow puts a review step between selecting files and sending them.
Check every preview
Each chosen photograph appears locally in the browser before the upload begins. Removing a preview removes that file from the selection.
Confirm the selection
The guest takes a separate confirmation action after reviewing the previews. That choice is recorded with the upload.
Prepare a display copy
Accepted photographs are decoded, turned the right way up and re-encoded for the screen. Camera metadata is removed from the display copies.
Inside the room
The sharing prompt stays beside the photographs.
The projector is a read-only view of one wedding and one mode. Test photographs cannot be requested by the live screen.
- Choose whether photographs need organiser approval
A wedding can release completed uploads automatically or hold them for the organiser to approve before they appear.
- Keep the newest moments visible
The live feed selects photographs released by that setting, with the newest first. Optional cycling changes only the older positions.
- Protect the QR area
A dedicated projector rail reserves space for the sharing QR code, so a photograph cannot drift over the prompt guests need.
- Hold the last valid screen
During a temporary connection problem, the projector keeps its last successful set while it retries. The rehearsal also covers a local fallback slideshow.
Private wedding photographs
Sharing in the room is not permission to publish.
The gallery is built for the booked event, not as a source of marketing material. Private storage, short-lived screen access and explicit publication permission are separate parts of that boundary.
Private storage
Gallery files live in private storage. The projector receives short-lived access only to the display copies released by the selected moderation setting for that screen. The upload page does not expose an album of everybody else's photographs.
Separate publication permission
A guest upload is not approval for Yours, Dearest to use the photograph in marketing. Any future case-study image needs its own specific permission.

The couple receives the agreed photograph export before the gallery enters its deletion schedule. The current working default is 90 days after the wedding.
It complements the photographer
Phone photographs show the room from the guests' point of view. The service does not present them as a replacement for professional wedding photography.
The room still needs equipment
Projector, screen, cabling, power, internet access and on-site operation stay with the venue or couple unless the written scope includes something different. The rehearsal checks the agreed setup.

What is Yours, Dearest wedding photo sharing?
It is a private browser-based route where wedding guests choose and check phone photographs before uploading them, with approved images able to join the live wall in the room.
Do guests need an app or a social-media account?
No. Guests use the wedding’s private link in an ordinary browser and review the exact files before confirming the upload.
Can photographs be checked before they appear live?
Yes. The couple chooses the moderation setting in advance, and images that require approval do not join the projector until they are released.
Are guest photographs public or available for marketing?
No. The intended wedding gallery is private and excluded from public search and marketing analytics. A guest upload does not grant Yours, Dearest permission to use the image in marketing.
