For venues and wedding suppliers

A clearer handover, before the room is full.

Wedding technology is more useful when the venue knows what it will receive, what it must provide and who owns each decision.

Yours, Dearest prepares the couple’s guest journey and agrees the handover with the people running the room. The venue keeps control of its hardware and operating rules, while the digital parts are checked before guests arrive.

The fictional product demonstrations are available to try. The family proof event is planned for September 2026, so venue procedures are still being proved.

What the venue receives

Useful files and screens, with an owner for each.

The exact handover belongs in the couple’s written scope. The founding service is designed to prepare a small set of practical outputs and rehearse how they will be used.

01

An agreed guest and menu export

The organiser can export attendance, table assignment, each selected course and dietary notes as a UTF-8 CSV. The couple and venue still need to approve the final layout and handling.

02

A current table finder

The room plan and assigned tables sit behind one private finder link. A lookup returns the matched table, not the guest list.

03

Prepared QR artwork

The founding scope includes QR artwork for the agreed guest journey. The rehearsal checks that the current code opens the intended guest flow on a phone.

04

A projector format and fallback

The photo wall is checked for the intended screen resolution, connection, sleep settings and guest QR. The rehearsal also covers a locally saved fallback slideshow.

The rehearsal

Make the boundaries boringly clear.

The venue’s rules and equipment are part of the fit check, not details left until the wedding morning. Anything outside the included service is written down before the couple decides.

  1. Confirm the room and responsible people

The fit check covers the venue, likely guest range, available display, connection and who owns the final food and table data.

  2. Approve the couple’s guest journey

The couple supplies and approves the wording, menus and invitation groups. Yours, Dearest configures the private experience from that approved material.

  3. Run one rehearsal

Phones, email behaviour, QR scans, table matches, projector format and the move from test to live are checked before the day.

  4. Write down the wedding support boundary

The agreed support window and escalation contact sit in the order form. Venue internet and projector hardware remain venue or couple responsibilities unless included expressly.

Introductions without pressure

A referral can start with one relevant couple.

A venue, coordinator, photographer or DJ can be helpful because they understand how the room runs. That does not require access to a couple database or an endorsement.

For venues and coordinators

Review the working product and handover questions against a real event. Yours, Dearest does not need access to your full couple list to check one permission-based introduction.

For photographers and DJs

The guest photo wall is a room-sharing experience, not a claim to replace professional coverage. A supplier can show a relevant couple the demo without lending their name as an endorsement.

One couple in mind?

Check the date before planning a handover.

If a couple has asked about replies, tables or a live photo wall, share the event date and venue context with their permission. Lewis will confirm whether a short fit conversation is worthwhile.
