The Lantern Roof Birmingham

Start the guest journey

At 11:47, meet us under the lights.

The roof turns cobalt. Our final song begins. Wherever the night has carried you, come back to the dance floor.

The 11:47 pact

We found a roof with room for everyone.

One lift ride above Birmingham: a short ceremony, dinner while the city lights come on, then the sort of party that needs good shoes.

Everything you need before setting off lives here. Read the plan, check the route and save your energy for later.

Love, Phoebe & Max

Phoebe and Max laughing together on the rooftop at dusk

Blue hour, no filter required.

One roof. Four versions of the evening.

Once you arrive, you stay put. The ceremony, dinner and afterparty all happen on the same level.

  1. Doors & first round

Come straight up to the roof. The bar and the skyline will be ready.

  2. The ceremony

A short ceremony under the canopy, followed by a very long hug queue.

  3. Dinner over the city

Sharing plates, speeches and no complicated table etiquette.

  4. Afterparty

The roof changes gear. Trainers are entirely acceptable from here.

This journey carries on.

The full sample will remember a fictional guest from their reply through finding their table and sharing the night’s photographs.

  1. Reply

Build one structured RSVP and menu record.

  2. Find

Light a clear route from the lift to the right table.

  3. Gallery

Trigger the fictional live photo wall.

The accessible rooftop entrance at the fictional Lantern Roof in Birmingham

Fictional venue shown for this demonstration

Up to the roof, without the guesswork.

The Lantern Roof
Digbeth, Birmingham
Finding the roof
Use the Digbeth Street entrance. The blue Lantern sign marks the lift lobby; hosts will be there from 5.15pm.
Getting here
New Street and Moor Street stations are both within a fifteen-minute walk. Please book late-night taxis before the day.
Step-free route
A lift runs from street level to the terrace. The ceremony, dinner and dance floor are all on one level.
What to wear
Colour, good shoes and one layer for later. The roof is covered, but Birmingham weather enjoys a dramatic entrance.

The questions worth asking now.

If we have missed something useful, ask us before the wedding week while we are still capable of a sensible reply.

Is the whole day outside?

The terrace is covered and the main room sits directly behind it. We can move everything inside without changing the plan.

Can children come?

If their names are on your invitation, absolutely. Their place and menu will appear when the reply section opens.

What happens at 11.47pm?

The lights turn cobalt, our final song starts and everybody comes back to the dance floor. That is the entire pact.

And gifts?

Please bring yourselves. Having our favourite people above the city is more than enough.
